We're very pleased to be hosting a new exhibition by talented local multi-media artist, Callum Barrell. His work is on display at Bar Bar Black Sheep until the New Year and is available to purchase ...
Callum is based in Wolverton and takes photos using old 35mm cameras he buys from charity shops or car boot sales. He then spends a lot of money on developing the shots because, well ... film.
Callum says that most of his photos are of his mates doing stupid stuff in interesting places. He also has a little studio where he spends his spare time experimenting with printing, painting and producing music.
He mostly uses silkscreen and lino for his prints which he feels are messy, but good fun. When he paints, he uses everything from acrylics and inks to spray paint, bleach and varnish.
Remember, Callum's work is on display at Bar Bar Black Sheep in Wolverton until the New Year so why not come down, grab a coffee and peruse the exhibition.
