Due to popular demand, we have another Black Sheep Actors Workshop planned for Sunday 29th March ...
Monologues can often feel quite daunting and overwhelming for performers to learn and execute. They can be often long-winded and quite uninspiring. You might not know where to start when rehearsing a monologue.
In our workshop, Mastering Monologues and Duologues, participants will explore practical skills on how to break down monologues then instil strong characterisation and storytelling. We will look at pace, rhythm and performance skills to inject vibrancy into them.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to look at a variety of different styles of monologues from different genres of plays. You will also be able to work with others to explore pieces of duologue.
Whether you are looking for monologue exploration for auditions, growth as a performer, or just want to try something different, this workshop is for you. Come along on Sunday 29th March at 10:30am until 1:30pm at The Old Bath House in Wolverton.
