In light of the current circumstances, we have been forced to make some hard decisions over the last few days. Our directors have taken into consideration the safety of our customers, participants and employees at this time ...

With this in mind, we have decided to keep Bar Bar Black Sheep open until further notice, but on reduced trading hours. These hours will be 10:00am - 3:00pm from Monday to Saturday and we'll be closed on Sunday.

"All of our groups and events are suspended, but we continue to welcome customers and appreciate your continued support!"

In the coffee shop, we have lots of books for customers to take free of charge to keep people entertained. As we are aware the libraries have unfortunately closed, this can be a resource used by all members of the community.

We are also supporting the 'We Are Wolverton' initiative, a community-based mutual aid/volunteer program to support those affected by COVID-19. The group are looking for help and support from the community to secure funds to be able to offer the delivery of essentials to those most vulnerable.

Black Sheep Collective have donated £200.00 towards the fund and urge anyone who can help to do so. Customers who come into Bar Bar Black Sheep can donate to this fund when they purchase a coffee. Please ask a member of staff when you come in for more details.

We will share more information in due course about the program and how you can get involved. In the meantime, if you would like to volunteer please visit the Facebook page.

"And changes are happening for the Black Sheep Collective too!"

Our office will move to remote working. All our artists, clients, practitioners etc can still reach us via the usual communication channels. Sadly, we are postponing our Young Company sessions and Actors Workshops until further notice.

To all our wonderful artists, supporters, friends and family we wish you all well and would like to stress the fundamental importance right now of community spirit, looking out for others and never forget you are part of something much bigger.

Be humanKIND!

Until next time ...

About Black Sheep Collective ...

The Black Sheep Collective came together to develop cultural programmes, events and activities that can be used as a means of community cohesion locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

We develop blueprints for creative communities through bold expressions of vision, often defying conformity, and we deliver a range of artistic and creative services to private and public organisations.

We harness the power of the arts to transform lives & initiate sustainable community cohesion and offer a range of creative based services from research and development, consultancy, design and new/digital media, advice and guidance, design, project and event management to evaluation, training and programming.
