At last, we are coming to the end of lockdown! It has indeed been a very strange time for us all, but the team at Bar Bar Black Sheep all hope you have made the most of it ...

And so this means that we are very pleased to announce the reopening of our beloved flagship social enterprise Bar Bar Black sheep on Saturday 4th July. As you may already be aware, we have made the most of the shop's temporary closure and have busied ourselves for the past few weeks.

"We've been preparing Bar Bar Black Sheep to make it a COVID Safe environment!"

In light of the new rules, we have had to make some changes to the way things work within our coffee shop, but please bear with us as we get used to the new routine of working to keep you all safe.

It has also meant that we were finally able to give the shop the much-anticipated refit that we had been planning in the months leading up to lockdown. We are so excited for all of our customers to see our brand new look.

We cannot thank all of you, our customers, for your continuing support through the strangest of times. A thank you to everyone who donated to our GoFundMe campaign, to those who shared posts and took interest in our social media platforms and to those who just stopped us in the street to take the time to talk to us about how we were.

This has made us truly feel a valued asset to the local community and given us the lift we needed in what could have been a very dark time for Bar Bar Black Sheep!

"We're looking forward to seeing you again!

As mentioned, a lot of changes are being made and we welcome any suggestions from yourselves with regards to anything you would like to see take place and any changes that could be made to improve our services to you.

Until next time ...

About Sian Philpott ...

Sian was introduced to fire manipulation in 2012 and was immediately hooked. After learning aerial acrobatics she soon progressed to performing in fie shows and assisting in circus workshops.

She joined the Pyrofinalia fire collective in 2014 and has been performing with them ever since. After performing fire shows with Danny Quinn at events around Milton Keynes she was asked to create the Fenceless Arts busking schedule for The Centre:MK and became a full-time member of the Black Sheep Collective.

Sian now helps with the day-to-day running of Bar Bar Blacksheep and continues to perform and run workshops. She is very much looking forward to the future with BSC and the fabulous events they put on.
