Black Sheep Collective Schools Engagement

Our practitioners are fully trained in their specialist field, they are creative and insured to deliver exciting new programs in a range of different contexts and settings. Some of our past workshops and programs include:

Whether you're looking for a one-off workshop; a weekly class, after-school club or a several week program BSC can design and facilitate this for you in a range of theatre and performance skills and genres.

The Black Sheep Collective are trained and qualified to deliver all Arts Award accreditations.

Regular Young Company sessions take place on Monday (during term time) between 6:00pm and 7:30pm at The Old Bath House, Wolverton. Payment terms are flexible, and there is no joining fee. We are currently looking into bursary schemes.

We are also offering free taster sessions to any young person to see if they like the structure of our workshops and if they want to get involved with the company. We can welcome new members at any point in the term.

Black Sheep Actors: 'Building Character' workshop

This workshop will explore a range of practical techniques and exercises which can be applied to your own acting work and practise. We will explore different techniques to build believable and effective characters. Through a series of exercises learn how to interpret given circumstances of a play and how to bring your own creative vision as an actor to portray a variety of characters.

Over the three hours work both individually and collaboratively to build your confidence in character acting and performance. This workshop is suitable for all abilities, no previous experience required, just a passion to learn and get up and give it a go.

Practitioner/Facilitator 'Warmups and Ice breakers' workshop

We invite practitioners, facilitators or workshop leaders of all performing arts to come together to share and participate in this practical workshop. We want to offer the opportunity to refresh and spark new ideas for your workshops and projects.

This workshop will predominately focus on sharing with each other successful warmups and ice breakers for a variety of groups and settings. Please let us know that you are coming along, bring with you a couple of warmups and ice breakers ready to share and facilitate the group with.

We ask for a small donation of £2.00 to the event and any marketing material if you want to use this as a networking exercise.
